Coming Zinequest, Runes in Ruin will have a crowdfunding campaign to change this set of pamphlets into a full-fletched adventure:

Ancient runes resurfaced. Forgotten forces stir, whispering to everyone who listens: promises of power only remembered through myth and legend. Power once again ripe for the reaping. Soon, hunger for it will consume the plateau. For now, they’re just ancient runes.

Monastery in Turmoil

A note pinned on the door: “Nobody welcome”. Behind it, monks draw livid lines and wag heated fingers. Arguments flying back and forth are flanked by intervals of loaded silence. Religious schism is imminent, unless someone dares to take decisive action.

the Buried Observatory

A bronze tower rises from the ground. Ancient, rusting, and hollow. Some say it isn’t a tower at all, but the last remnant of a once important facility. Some say they heard the tower breathe.

the Marble Quarry

A simple quarry turns out to dig into a mystical forge. The brave group of miners has never returned. Periodic smoke plumes escape the quarry’s crevices. What secrets does this place hold?
