A downloadable one-page adventure

My dungeons are made to be system-neutral and setting-neutral, although it is aimed at fantasy roleplaying games using a d20 system.

Billy and his mom sit down. “One ride, then we go home.” The carousel starts spinning. Its music starts playing. Billy laughs, enjoying the fleeting moment on his new wooden friend. Silently, he wishes he’d never have to go home; that the carousel would spin forever.

A decade passes. The tornado wreaks havoc on the countryside below. Its winds, powered by the eternal momentum of his carousel, scream in Billy’s ear. The entire carnival still flies scattered around the tornado’s center. Around him. Billy looks down, into the cyclone. Is his mother waiting down there? He doesn’t dare wish anymore.

Possible scenario hooks:

  • This tornado is wrecking the country’s infrastructure. Find a way to tame it.
  • Scientists admire this decade-old tornado. They’re curious what powers it.
  • Someone’s family was sucked up by the tornado. They’re still floating in it. Alive.

I’m honestly just fangirling at this point.

Your designs are so cool and reading through them gives the same feeling as reading the game manual on the way home from the store.

There’s just so many cool toys to play with.

Too kind! Thanks, I hope to keep impressing you :)
