A downloadable pocket dungeon

Made for the Mystic Woods OSR Jam.

Droughts and downpours have alternatingly terrorized the Netherlands recently, so it felt appropriate to acknowledge the change weather can inflict upon a forest. I wanted to explore the change rain could bring to creatures and locations alike, and integrate them into an evocative forest-crawl and -location.

What’s Inside Rainfall?

Rain is falling. Rain keeps falling. It’s been falling for weeks. Players fight the weather and its wet consequences in this short adventure. Exploration is the key to find out what’s happened, what’s happening and what will happen if the rain never stops.

  • 3 to 4 hours of adventure in a forest abundant with rain.
  • A tragic backstory involving a powerful artifact.
  • One dried-up bogdragon.
